Skyloft Build Technician

We’re searching for a skilled technician to join our Skyloft team, building our high-tech, carbon fiber rooftop campers. This position is part composite fabrication, part precision assembly.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working on meticulous projects requiring high attention to detail
• Pre-preg carbon fiber layup (or interest in learning)
• Vacuum bagging
• Installing paint protection films
• Sanding, scribing and fitment of composite components
• Experience working with different substrates from carbon fiber to ABS plastic, polycarbonate, aluminum, foam, etc.
• Experience viewing and interpreting 3D models
• Assembling complex operable mechanical systems (hinges, struts, sliding latches, etc.)
• Assembling precision components with tight tolerances
• Silicone sealing
• Assembling components using two-part epoxies
• Installing components using high-bond adhesive tapes

Required Equipment Experience:

• Hand tools
• CNC
• Router Table
• Rivet gun
• Electric drill drivers
• Die grinder
• We will provide all necessary tools

Pay Range: $26-$28
